Ford has officially unveiled the pricing for its much-anticipated 2027 Ford Bronco RTR, an off-road beast developed in collaboration with off-roader and Formula Drift champion Vaughn Gittin Jr. This new factory-backed rig brings high-performance aftermarket hardware directly to consumers, making it a compelling option for enthusiasts. First previewed in January, the company has now confirmed that the base Bronco RTR will start at $50,790, excluding the standard destination charge.
While the official destination fee is yet to be announced by Ford, an estimated fee of at least $1,995, consistent with the 2026 model year, brings the approximate total upfront cost to $52,785. The 2027 Ford Bronco RTR is strategically positioned in Ford's lineup, slotting between the capable Bronco Badlands and the high-performance Bronco Raptor. It also marks the debut of the 2027 model-year Broncos, setting the stage for future updates.
Two distinct RTR configurations will be available. The base version is equipped with a Hoss 1.0 suspension lift, robust 33-inch tires, beadlock-capable 17-inch wheels, and distinctive squared fenders, all designed to enhance its off-road prowess. Both configurations will share the same powertrain: a potent 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired with a smooth 10-speed automatic transmission, ensuring a balance of power and control.
For those looking to add a visual flair, the Bronco RTR comes with a striking Hyper Lime and RTR Appearance Graphics Package. Furthermore, customers desiring an even more extreme off-road setup can opt for the Bronco Sasquatch Package combined with the RTR Suspension Package. This upgrade introduces larger 35-inch tires, advanced Hoss 3.0 Fox internal bypass dampers for superior handling, and a modular, heavy-duty front bumper for increased protection and utility.
Despite these extensive upgrade options, Ford assures that even a fully optioned Bronco RTR, complete with all available packages, will come in at “just under $60,000” before destination and delivery charges. This pricing structure suggests a significant amount of specialized hardware for the investment. Monday’s announcement is just the initial insight into Ford's plans for the 2027 Bronco lineup, which will reportedly include the introduction of two new series, a new engine option, and revised standard features across various grades. One steadfast characteristic, however, is the Bronco's unwavering commitment to ruggedness, a core tenet that will remain unchanged.
