Following these successful tenures, he was elected to two consecutive terms as the governor of Kano State, where he spearheaded numerous initiatives and policies. His influence also extended to the national political sphere as he served as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Currently, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje holds the position of Chairman of the Federal Aviation Administration of Nigeria (FAAN), continuing his legacy of service in a crucial sector. President Tinubu expressed profound appreciation for Ganduje's unwavering friendship, their close collaboration at various times, and his invaluable services to the APC, emphasizing the strong bond between them.
