P!nk's Shocking New Year's Eve: Pop Star Reveals Hospital Stay

Pop superstar P!nk commenced the new year from an unexpected setting: a hospital bed. On Wednesday, December 31, the 46-year-old singer shared a candid selfie on social media, depicting herself in a hospital gown with a bandage adorning her neck. Despite the unusual circumstances, P!nk exuded good spirits, flashing a bright smile as she emotionally reflected on the preceding year, 2025, and elaborated on the reason for her hospitalization.

Dispelling rumors of cosmetic procedures, P!nk lightheartedly clarified on Instagram that she was not there for facial plastic surgery. Instead, she had received “two new shiny discs in my neck,” humorously adding that “rock ‘n’ roll is a contact sport.” While she recuperated alone in the hospital, her family was able to celebrate the holiday by enjoying a snowboarding trip.

In a lengthy and heartfelt caption, P!nk characterized 2025 as a “doozy for all of us,” acknowledging that it spanned the entire emotional spectrum from “absolutely devastating to mildly annoying.” Amidst these challenges, she highlighted moments of profound beauty, expressing gratitude for waking up each day to engage in “the business of loving my children and helping them to follow their dreams.” The artist, who shares two children with former motocross racer Carey Hart, 50, further reflected on the pain of bidding farewell to “incredibly important people” in 2025, alongside experiencing both the realization of dreams and arduous periods.

Looking ahead, P!nk vowed to “work this year to help preserve the choices of others to make for themselves and their families and this very pursuit of happiness.” The comments section of her post was quickly inundated with messages of support and well wishes from friends and loved ones, including Juliette Lewis, who wrote, “Thank you for this. happy healing & happy new year,” and Kristin Chenoweth, who added, “Amen sister amen!”

This particular hospital stay was not the only health challenge P!nk encountered in 2025. Earlier that year, during a summer vacation, she disclosed a serious illness, sharing on Instagram in late August: “When you go on vacation and have food and E coli decides to move into your gut you kill it with friends and daughters and red wine. and a vitamin IV concoction.”

These health incidents followed P!nk’s well-deserved break after her highly successful 2023–2024 Summer Carnival World Tour. The extensive tour generated nearly $700 million in gross revenue and sold more than 4.8 million tickets across 128 shows, marking a significant professional achievement for the pop icon.
