Naira Marley Breaks Silence Amidst Mohbad Controversy: Shocking Revelations Emerge
Musician Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, has recently broken his silence on the controversial death of his former signee, Ilerioluwa Aloba, known as Mohbad. Mohbad tragically died on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at the age of 27, under circumstances that have since sparked widespread public outrage and intense scrutiny within Nigeria's entertainment industry.
In February, a Magistrate's Court in Yaba, Lagos, acquitted Naira Marley and music promoter Samson Balogun (Sam Larry) of any blame in Mohbad's death. Others, including Ibrahim Owodunni (Primeboy) and Mohbad's former manager, Babatunde Opere, were also freed. However, a Coroner's Court sitting in Ikorodu, Lagos, concluded its inquest by recommending the criminal prosecution of Feyisayo Ogedengbe, the auxiliary nurse who administered an injection to Mohbad shortly before his death. Magistrate Adedayo Shotobi stated that the nurse acted with gross negligence by providing treatment without a doctor's prescription, deeming her actions
