Music Industry Scandal: Chocolate City Accuses Odumodublvck of Assault
Chocolate City Music Management has issued a strong statement accusing Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck, born Tochukwu Ojogwu, of a disturbing and escalating pattern of violence, harassment, and intimidation against its staff and artists. The record label described these alleged assaults and threats as well-documented, asserting that such behavior cannot be tolerated.
According to the label, a recent incident occurred backstage at the Rhythm Unplugged concert. Odumodublvck allegedly assaulted staff member Feyi Ajayi, reportedly headbutting him after making threatening statements about Chocolate City and its leadership. Eyewitnesses claim that when a bodyguard intervened, Odumodublvck and his associates poured drinks on Mr. Ajayi while shouting expletives. Ajayi was hospitalized and is receiving treatment for injuries requiring immediate attention.
Chocolate City emphasized that this incident is part of a "sustained pattern of harassment, stalking, and physical violence" posing a serious threat to the safety of its entire team. The label further alleged that Odumodublvck has stalked its artists across borders, physically assaulted them, and issued threats of deadly violence, including targeting women within the organization, highlighting concerns about workplace safety.
The accusations extend to other artists and executives. Odumodublvck allegedly attacked rapper Blaqbonez at Landmark Beach, taking his eyeglasses and refusing to return them. Throughout 2024-2025, Odumodublvck reportedly sent over 100 threatening messages to Blaqbonez and Chocolate City executives, including their families, escalating to in-person confrontations and online harassment.
Further incidents cited include a March 2025 confrontation where Odumodublvck allegedly cornered Blaqbonez in a hotel elevator in Uyo with several associates, issuing threats while claiming access to firearms. The rapper is also accused of harassing Blaqbonez’s manager, Morin Oluwatobi, physically obstructing her duties, and subjecting her to verbal abuse, demonstrating a sustained pattern of intimidation and hostility.
Other alleged attacks include an order to assault Major AJ, another Chocolate City artist, in March 2025 at a public eatery, and further confrontations during a September 2025 fashion show in England, where Odumodublvck reportedly attempted to strike Blaqbonez and spat at his manager. In October 2025, he allegedly engaged in cyberbullying and threats against Chocolate City executive Osagie Onobun due to his association with Blaqbonez.
Chocolate City Music Management has vowed to pursue legal action, confirming that authorities have been formally notified. The label stressed that the safety of its team is its top priority and that all available legal measures will be employed to protect its staff. As of press time, Odumodublvck has not publicly responded to the allegations.
