Mega Millions Move: $592M Asset Manager Dives Into XRP ETF!

Recent disclosures from various investment advisers across the United States indicate a significant and growing institutional interest in XRP exchange-traded funds (ETFs). These filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) highlight the increasing integration of XRP into traditional investment portfolios, even as the holdings remain modest when compared to Bitcoin ETFs.

Gerber, an Ohio-based registered investment adviser managing $592 million in assets, has revealed a fresh position in the Franklin XRP ETF. According to its SEC filing, the firm holds 12,958 shares of this particular fund, marking its entry into the XRP ETF market.

This move by Gerber follows a series of other notable 13F disclosures from investment firms. On July 17, Gallacher Capital Management LLC reported a new position in the Canary XRP ETF (XRPC), disclosing ownership of 86,744 shares, which were valued at approximately $961,126 at the time. Just one day prior, Vista Finance LLC unveiled one of the largest institutional XRP ETF positions reported thus far, with its SEC filing showing ownership of a substantial 129,958 shares of the Franklin XRP ETF, amounting to an approximate value of $11.45 million.

Furthermore, CPR Investments, a Michigan-based registered investment adviser, disclosed on July 15 that it had established a position in the ProShares Ultra XRP ETF. Their filing indicated ownership of 36,619 shares, valued at approximately $363,627. These developments collectively underscore that XRP is steadily gaining popularity among investment advisors seeking to diversify their digital asset exposures.

The institutional disclosures are complemented by a consistent trend of positive inflows into U.S. spot XRP ETFs. Latest daily figures reported 532,500 XRP of net inflows on July 27. This follows substantial inflows earlier in the month, with 5.09 million XRP recorded on July 21, 2.27 million XRP on July 20, and a significant 6.10 million XRP on July 16, demonstrating sustained investor confidence and demand.

As of the most recent update, the combined XRP ETF market has amassed approximately $683.66 million in assets under management. Leading this sector is the Bitwise XRP ETF, which holds roughly $243 million. It is closely followed by the Canary XRP ETF, with nearly $223 million in assets, and the Franklin XRP ETF, which accounts for approximately $167 million of the total market, further solidifying the growing presence and liquidity within the XRP ETF ecosystem.
