South African music sensation Tyla has added another milestone to her growing list of global achievements after being unveiled as the latest celebrity to receive her own Bratz Collector Doll.

The collaboration, announced by Bratz on its official website, forms part of the brand's 25th anniversary celebrations and places the Grammy-winning singer alongside international stars who have previously received the honour.

A Dream Turned Reality

Tyla revealed that the collaboration fulfilled a wish she publicly shared in 2024 after fans created Bratz-inspired artwork of her on social media.

Announcing the partnership on Instagram, the singer reposted her original message, celebrating how the idea had become reality just two years later.

The moment marks another major international recognition for one of Africa's biggest music exports.

Inspired by Tyla's Signature Style

The collector doll recreates two of Tyla's most recognisable looks. One outfit pays tribute to the sculptural Balmain "Sands of Time" gown she wore to the 2024 Met Gala, while the second captures her performance style with a sequined outfit inspired by her stage appearances.

The doll also features Tyla's signature braided hairstyle and comes with accessories inspired by her music career, including a miniature microphone, jewellery and a replica of her debut album.

Launch Coincides With New Album

The Bratz collector doll will make its public debut at a special pop-up event inside FAO Schwarz in New York, where Tyla is also expected to meet fans during the launch.

The release comes as the singer prepares to unveil her sophomore album, further building momentum for what has already been another landmark year in her international career.

A Growing Global Influence

Tyla's partnership with Bratz underscores her growing influence beyond music, extending into fashion, lifestyle and global pop culture.

Since breaking onto the international stage, the South African star has continued to elevate African music worldwide, and becoming part of the Bratz Celebrity Collector Series represents another milestone in her rapidly expanding global profile.
