Madden NFL 26 Bombshell: Stafford Dominates Mahomes in Week 14 Rating Shake-Up!

The latest Madden NFL 26 Week 14 ratings update has shaken up player standings across the league, with several athletes making significant moves both upwards and downwards. The highly anticipated pursuit of a spot in the illustrious 99 Club remains a key storyline, with new contenders emerging and established stars facing adjustments.
Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford has notably climbed the ranks, gaining two points after a stellar performance against the Philadelphia Eagles, elevating his overall rating to 97. Having started the season at 88 OVR, Stafford's total gains now stand at an impressive nine points, placing him on par with Jonathan Taylor, another player who has seen substantial rating increases this season. His strong play firmly positions him as a prime candidate for the exclusive 99 Club.
Conversely, the Kansas City Chiefs experienced a downturn in their star players' ratings. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes suffered a three-point loss, reducing his overall rating to 94, marking the lowest rating he has held in years. Similarly, tight end Travis Kelce saw a two-point decrease, barely retaining his status among players rated 90 or above, also representing his lowest rating in several years.
Beyond these prominent shifts, other players made remarkable individual advancements or declines. Seattle Seahawks cornerback Devon Witherspoon made an impressive jump into the 90s, gaining two points. Meanwhile, Atlanta Falcons cornerback A.J. Terrell Jr. lost two points, dropping to 88 OVR. The week's biggest gainer was Miami Dolphins center Aaron Brewer, who added a substantial six points to his rating, achieving a career-high of 84 OVR.
