Kevin Hart's Netflix Roast: Feuds Explode, Tom Brady & The Rock Deliver Jaw-Dropping Insults

Kevin Hart was at the center of a star-studded Netflix roast, marking the final night of the Netflix Is a Joke Fest at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. Hosted by Shane Gillis, the event brought together a diverse group of celebrities, athletes, and comedians, including Venus and Serena Williams, Lizzo, and Tom Brady, alongside a roster of comedic talents like Chelsea Handler, Tony Hinchliffe, Pete Davidson, Draymond Green, Tiffany Haddish, Sheryl Underwood, Regina Hall, and Na’im Lynn.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson made a dramatic entrance, complete with special effects and Queen’s “We Will Rock You,” before launching into a lengthy, R-rated set. Johnson, Hart’s “Jumanji” co-star, wasted no time delivering comedic jabs, referring to Hart as his “little chocolate baby bird” and “little Burnt Oompa-Loompa.” A significant portion of Johnson’s roast focused on Hart’s wife, Eniko, with Johnson remarking that she “deserves an Academy Award for pretending she likes to fuck you” and suggesting a tequila-fueled rendezvous. He further quipped that women love Hart because “he’s the same size and color as their favorite dildo.” Johnson concluded by falsely claiming he got a “life size” Kevin Hart tattoo on his penis, stating Eniko had already seen it. Hart, visibly taken aback, challenged Johnson about his comments regarding his wife, to which Johnson retorted, “But you’re the one who said, ‘Hey, listen, fucking say anything you want!’” The duo, known for their on-screen chemistry in movies like “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle,” “Jumanji: The Next Level,” and “Central Intelligence,” are set to reunite for their third and final “Jumanji” movie, “Jumanji: Open World,” this Christmas.
Tom Brady, who was the subject of Netflix’s last celebrity roast in 2024, made a surprise appearance to return some jokes. Brady quipped about his “affairs in Las Vegas,” a pointed reference to Hart’s admitted infidelity in 2017 while his then-pregnant wife, Eniko, was in Las Vegas. Brady, a minority owner in the Las Vegas Raiders and Aces WNBA team, acknowledged the harshness of the joke but clarified he was simply returning the favor after Hart’s presence at his own roast. Earlier in the evening, Hart had confidently proclaimed his roast would be “way better than the Brady roast,” calling Brady “a bitch” for his reaction to being roasted. Brady quickly responded upon taking the stage, asking Hart, “Jesus, do you ever shut the fuck up? ... Well, unlike your real dad, I actually showed up.”
Perhaps the most anticipated moment of the night was the surprise appearance of Katt Williams, which ultimately led to the end of his years-long public feud with Kevin Hart. Williams, introduced by Regina Hall, started his set by jokingly questioning his invitation due to Hart’s perceived “little star power.” The feud had reignited in 2024 when Williams accused Hart of being an “industry plant” and stealing movie roles from him, a sentiment he reiterated during the roast, stating, “privately, this motherfucker stole everything from me.” Williams also referenced Hart’s controversial performance at the Riyadh Comedy Festival and continued to call Hart a “Hollywood puppet,” implying Netflix’s literal control over him. Despite the biting jokes, the two comedians ended their long-standing animosity on stage. Hart extended an “olive branch of peace,” shaking Williams’ hand and hugging him, expressing his desire to move on and be brothers. During his own set, Hart directly addressed Williams’ claims of stolen roles, listing a series of hit movies he starred in—such as “Jumanji 1, 2, 3,” “Ride Along 1, 2,” and “Central Intelligence”—and contrasting them with Williams’ cameo in “Norbit.” Hart then emphasized the importance of ending their beef, stating, “It’s not good for all these white people to see two Black people fighting.”
