Hollywood Star Isa Briones Blasts 'Disrespectful' Fans Mid-Show

The Pitt star Isa Briones took to social media on Saturday to call out fans who scream at her during her Broadway show.
On “The Pitt,” Briones stars as second-year resident Dr. Trinity Santos, but on the stage, she’s currently playing Connie Francis in the jukebox musical “Just In Time.”
In a direct message on her Instagram Story, Briones specifically cited an instance where an audience member yelled, “when are you going to finish your charts,” just before she was about to sing “Who’s Sorry Now?”
She sternly reminded her followers that “Broadway is not a circus” and urged them to remember they are “occupying shared spaces and watching art.”
Her appeal underscored the need for respect and decorum within the theater environment.
Briones made her Broadway debut in 2024 as Eurydice in Hadestown, and in April she began playing Connie Francis in Just in Time, a jukebox musical about the US singer-songwriter Bobby Darin.
Since it premiered in 2025, The Pitt has become hugely popular around the world and transformed the careers of many of the young actors who play residents and student doctors working in the fictional Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center.
Beyond the stage, Briones’ television career has seen significant success with “The Pitt.” After premiering in 2025, the series rapidly gained popularity on HBO.
Its first season garnered 13 Emmy Award nominations and secured five wins, including Best Drama Series, Best Actor for Noah Wyle, and Best Supporting Actress for Katherine LaNasa.
With “The Pitt” Season 2 having premiered on January 8, it is widely anticipated to be a major contender at this year’s Emmy Awards.
