The rigorous process of setting this record involved approximately nine hours of continuous cooking. To sustain the immense heat required for such a colossal pot, an estimated 1,200 kilograms of gas were utilized. Guinness World Records meticulously outlined specific rules and criteria that had to be adhered to throughout the attempt. Key among these was the stipulation that at least 80% of the total weight of the cooked dish had to be washed basmati rice. Furthermore, all the prepared food was mandated to be served to people, ensuring absolutely no wastage. Crucially, the dish had to be undeniably Nigerian jollof rice, and every recipe and ingredient used needed to be measured with precise accuracy.
Hilda Baci shared the extensive list of ingredients that contributed to this record-setting meal. These included 4,000 kg of washed basmati rice, 612 kg of oil, 800 kg of Gino Asun peppered chicken + party jollof, and 600 kg of her Jollof pepper mix. Additional components comprised 220 kg of Gino Asun & peppered chicken cubes, a blend of 20 g of Gino curry and 7 g of Gino thyme, 300 kg of onion, garlic & ginger blend, and 164 kg of fresh goat meat. The aforementioned 1,200 kg of gas was also a critical "ingredient" in the successful execution of the cooking.
