Darren Till Joins Conor McGregor-Backed BKFC in Shock Career Switch
Former UFC fighter Darren Till has signed a multi-fight deal with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), marking a major shift in his combat sports career.
Till is set to make his debut on May 30 at BKFC 90 in Birmingham’s Utilita Arena, moving into bare-knuckle boxing after leaving Misfits Boxing.
His recent run in Misfits saw him go 3–0, including wins over Anthony Taylor, Darren Stewart, and a knockout victory over former UFC champion Luke Rockhold.
The British fighter left the UFC in 2023 after a difficult spell, losing five of his final six bouts before rebuilding momentum outside the promotion.
He is expected to compete at 185 pounds in BKFC, although his opponent has not yet been announced, raising anticipation around his debut.
Till expressed strong confidence in his arrival, declaring his intent to become the “face of violence” in the promotion.
BKFC, partly owned by UFC icon Conor McGregor, has grown rapidly since launching sanctioned bare-knuckle fights in the United States in 2018.
The promotion has also attracted high-profile fighters, including Olympic boxing champion James DeGale, boosting its mainstream visibility.
Till confirmed he left Misfits Boxing on good terms, saying it was simply time to explore a new challenge in his combat career.
