Digital Future Unveiled: Minister Maida to Spark Innovation at LCCI's ICTEL Expo

The Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI)is gearing up to host the 11th edition of its highly anticipated ICTEL expo, an event poised to significantly impact Africa's digital economy. Scheduled to take place from July 29 to 30, 2025, in Lagos, this year's expo is themed "Leveraging Technology for Innovation and Development in Africa," highlighting its focus on technological advancement across the continent.
ICTEL 2025is designed as a dynamic, hybrid showcase for the digital economy, promising a rich agenda of activities. Attendees can look forward to live product demonstrations, insightful expert panel discussions, engaging startup pitch sessions, and carefully curated networking opportunities. These elements are specifically tailored to deliver tangible, real-world impact and foster growth within the technology sector. The LCCI emphasized that against the backdrop of rapid technological shifts, including advancements in AI, cybersecurity, fintech, and green-tech, the expo will be a pivotal platform for driving progress.

Building on the successful demo-driven format of previous editions, ICTEL 2025 aims to achieve several key objectives. It will exhibit cutting-edge hardware and digital solutions, spanning from telecommunications technologies to advanced AI-powered tools. The event will also shed light on emerging digital threats such as malware, phishing, and ransomware, while simultaneously presenting proactive and transformative opportunities.
