Aston Martin Elevates Luxury Speed with 2026 DB12 S ‘Super Tourer’

Aston Martin pushes the boundaries of performance and refinement with the unveiling of the 2026 Aston Martin DB12 S, a machine the automaker boldly labels its first “super tourer.” The model builds on the legacy of the Aston Martin DB12, blending increased power with enhanced comfort and precision to redefine expectations in the grand touring segment.
Rather than focusing solely on speed, the DB12 S delivers a balanced upgrade, offering a more immersive driving experience while elevating cabin luxury and ride quality.
Under the hood, the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine now produces 690 horsepower, paired with refined tuning that broadens the torque curve for smoother and more responsive acceleration. The upgraded eight-speed automatic transmission delivers faster shifts and improved launch control, shaving acceleration time to 3.4 seconds from 0–60 mph.
Compared to icons like the Aston Martin DB5, the DB12 S reflects a modern evolution, where raw performance meets intelligent engineering through recalibrated throttle response, titanium exhaust integration, and optimized drivetrain dynamics.
Beyond power, the DB12 S sharpens its edge through chassis and suspension upgrades, including a stiffer rear anti-roll bar and adaptive dampers tuned for both agility and comfort. Steering precision is enhanced for better road feedback, while carbon ceramic brakes improve stopping performance and reduce weight.
Inside, the vehicle maintains Aston Martin’s signature luxury with upgraded materials and design, while exterior tweaks, like a more aggressive rear diffuser, reinforce its performance identity. The DB12 S doesn’t just iterate on a formula; it establishes a new category, positioning itself as a refined yet formidable benchmark in the future of high-performance touring.
