AI Unicorn Alert: Uniphore Secures Whopping $260M from Tech Giants for Series F!

Uniphore, an artificial intelligence (AI) platform specifically designed for business applications, has successfully secured $260 million in a Series F funding round. This latest investment was garnered from prominent global technology companies including Nvidia, AMD, Snowflake, and Databricks, bringing Uniphore's total funding to an impressive $870 million. Umesh Sachdev, co-founder and chief executive of Uniphore, highlighted the unique nature of this fundraise, emphasizing the participation of both top-tier financial investors and leading AI and data firms. Additional investors in this round comprised New Enterprise Associates (NEA), March Capital, BNF Capital, National Grid Partners, and Prosperity7 Ventures.
The newly acquired capital will be strategically allocated to accelerate innovation within Uniphore’s flagship AI and data orchestration platform, the Business AI Cloud. This initiative aligns with earlier reports from July, which indicated Uniphore's pursuit of $200-$250 million to fuel expansion and scale its AI endeavors. Hemant Dhulla, vice president of NVIDIA AI Software, commented on Uniphore's approach, noting its ability to enable organizations to achieve significant business outcomes while retaining control over their data and workflows through a sovereign, secure approach, seamless model orchestration, and rapid deployment of AI agents.
Prior to this significant fundraise, Uniphore made strategic moves to bolster its capabilities. The company acquired Orby AI, an AI-native firm known for developing enterprise-grade AI agents capable of observing and replicating user activity. Furthermore, Uniphore announced its intention to acquire Autonom8, a Chennai-based automation company specializing in developing and automating customer-facing and back-office workflows. These acquisitions underscore Uniphore's commitment to expanding its product offerings and market reach.
Uniphore's last major funding event was in 2022, when it raised $400 million in its Series E round, led by NEA, valuing the company at $2.5 billion. Participants in that round included March Capital, Sanabil Investments, and Sorenson Capital Partners. Despite the substantial Series F injection, Uniphore’s valuation remains unchanged. Other notable early and ongoing supporters of Uniphore include Chiratae Ventures, Iron Pillar, 360 One, IIFL Finance, Sistema Asia, CXO Fund, ITP, the Patni family, Infosys co-founder Kris Gopalakrishnan, and Sorenson Capital Partners.
Founded in Chennai in 2008 by Umesh Sachdev and Ravi Saraogi, Uniphore has grown from its Indian roots to establish a global presence. The company offers a comprehensive conversational automation platform that seamlessly integrates conversational AI, workflow automation, and robotic process automation. Uniphore maintains offices across several key international locations, including the US, India, Spain, Israel, the UK, and the UAE, reflecting its expansive operational footprint.
