Love often arrives unexpectedly, and for Gloria and Ryan, their “yummy love story” began with a sweet, chance encounter during the bustling December holidays in Lagos. Despite romance not being on Gloria’s agenda, their paths crossed in a way that would forever change their lives.

Gloria recounted her packed day on December 28th, 2022, which included a makeup appointment, a podcast interview, and a last-minute wedding. It was while she was giving business advice before her interview that Ryan first noticed her. He was captivated by her intellect and articulation as she spoke during her session. After her interview, he approached her, expressing his admiration for her words, and they began talking. Gloria was equally impressed when she later saw Ryan’s photography, immediately recognizing it as “global standard.” Their initial casual conversations gradually deepened, leading to unique experiences such as the memorable “MANGO” experiment. Ryan was the first to confess his love, a moment Gloria recalled as both expected and unexpected, confirming the special nature of their bond.

From Ryan’s perspective, he was immediately fascinated by Gloria’s brilliant mind and the beautiful way she expressed her thoughts during the podcast interview. Their conversations continued over the phone once Gloria returned to Paris. The culmination of their journey was a beautiful and intimate civil wedding held in Ville de Colombes, Paris. Surrounded by their families and loved ones, the couple exchanged vows. Gloria made a gorgeous bride in her classy dress, while Ryan looked dapper in his crisp white suit.
