WWE Legends Shaken by Bizarre Death Rumors and Crash Claims

Former WWE chief Vince McMahon was involved in a severe three-car collision in Connecticut, US, around 9 AM on a recent Thursday. McMahon, 79, was driving northbound on Route 15 in Westport when his Bentley reportedly smashed into the back of a BMW, subsequently colliding with a guardrail. The BMW, driven by Barbara Doran, sustained significant damage, including a ripped-off wheel, and debris from the impact flew into the opposite lane, damaging a third vehicle, a Ford. Both McMahon's Bentley and Doran's BMW had their airbags deployed due to the force of the collision.

Barbara Doran, speaking out about the incident, described feeling "lucky to be alive" after McMahon's car allegedly struck hers at "80-90mph," catapulting her vehicle over 100 yards. Despite the intensity of the crash, no one sustained injuries, and McMahon reportedly walked away unscathed. However, McMahon has been issued a misdemeanour summons for reckless driving and following too closely and is scheduled to appear in court next month.

Curiously, the car crash occurred around the same time wrestling icon Hulk Hogan, whose career was significantly influenced by McMahon, was reported to have passed away. Later that day, McMahon himself led tributes on social media for Hogan, releasing a public statement praising the Hall of Famer as "the greatest WWE Superstar of ALL TIME" and a global phenomenon who gave everything to his audience.

Confirming the tragic news, Hulk Hogan, whose real name was Terry Gene Bollea, died at the age of 71 after suffering a heart attack at his home. He was laid to rest in a private ceremony held in Largo, Florida. Pallbearers at his funeral wore yellow boutonnieres as a symbolic tribute to Hogan's iconic wrestling attire. Hogan is survived by his two children, Brooke and Nick, from his first marriage to Linda.

Brooke Hogan, Hulk Hogan's daughter, revealed her decision to skip her father's funeral, explaining that he "hated the morbidity of funerals" and did not wish for one. Instead of attending the formal service, Brooke chose to honor her father privately, taking her children to the beach, a place that held special meaning for their family. She expressed that this personal tribute made her feel closest to him, reminiscing about being his "beach baby" and how her daughter Molly would carry on the "little fish" nickname Hogan had given her. Brooke shared her sentiments in a heartfelt social media message, praying for her father's peace and expressing her deep love for him.
