A woman who tragically died after falling from a building in Manchester city centre can be named today as widely-respected charity fundraiser Rachel O'Hare.

Ms O'Hare, who was living in Manchester and aged in her 40s, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene on Great Ancoats Street on Monday, June 30.

Her death is not being treated by police as suspicious.

Originally from the Wirral Ms O'Hare, believed to be a mother, co-founded a charity called Elle for Elle, which worked to help vulnerable women in refuges.

The aim was to support women in need with basic toiletries and beauty products, with the charity's work said to have been praised in Westminster. According to Companies House, Elle for Elle was dissolved in 2022.
