VTB United League - Lokomotiv-keeps-Miller-for-another-season
Lokomotiv Kuban (VTB United League) re-signed 33-year old American 185cm guard Patrick Miller (college: Tennessee State, agency: Slash Sports) for new season. He was a team leader there last season. In 54 VTB United League games he averaged impressive 15.6ppg, 3.4rpg, 5.9apg and 1.5spg. It was a very successful season in his career as he was voted to VTB United League All-Star Game and League Player of the Week (4 times).
The previous (2023-24) season he played at Taipans (NBL) in Australian league.
In 2015 (a year after his graduation) he was drafted by Oklahoma City Blue (D-League) in second round (28th overall).
The former Tennessee State star is in his twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
Miller is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in nine different countries playing on four different continents. He is familiar with European, Latin American, Australian and of course North American leagues. Miller has played previously professionally in Australia, France (Boulazac Basket), Germany (ratiopharm Ulm and Bamberg), Israel (Ironi Nes Ziona), Lithuania (Juventus), Serbia (Partizan), Turkey (Besiktas, Gaziantep and Yesilgiresun), NBA G League (Sioux Falls and Texas Legends) and Dominican Republic (Leones).
Among many awards Miller's team made it to the VTB United League Semifinals in 2024. He was also selected to Eurobasket.com All-Lithuanian LKL Guard of the Year back in 2022.
