Heidelberg dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to s Oliver Baskets's 26. Heidelberg outrebounded Wuerzburg 38-25 including a 28-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American guard DJ Horne (185-2000, college: NC State) who scored 28 points and 4 assists. His fellow American import forward Ryan Mikesell (201-1996, college: Dayton, agency: Slash Sports) chipped in 16 points and 7 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Panamanian-Puerto Rican point guard Jhivvan Jackson (182-1998, college: UTSA) who recorded 25 points and 4 assists. s Oliver Baskets' coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Heidelberg maintains seventh place with 17-14 record. Wuerzburg at the other side keeps the third position with 13 games lost. They share it with Braunschweig and Chemnitz. Leader ratiopharm Ulm delivered the twenty third victory. This time they beat 15th ranked Bamberg (11-20) 92-77. It was a good game for the former international Karim Jallow (198-1997) who led his team to a victory with 19 points and 5 rebounds. Justinian Jessup contributed with 12 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American point guard Ronaldo Segu (183-1999, college: Buffalo) answered with 20 points and 8 assists for Bamberg. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. ratiopharm Ulm have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 23-8 record, which they share with Bayern. Bamberg at the other side keeps the fifteenth position with 20 games lost. Ulm will play against Hamburg (#13) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Bamberg will play against Vechta and hopes to get back on the winning track.
The game in Rostock was also quite interesting. Fifth ranked Braunschweig (18-13) played at the court of 8th ranked Seawolves (16-15). Braunschweig did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 67-48 on Thursday. Sananda Fru stepped up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. The best for the losing side was Nijal Pearson with 11 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Braunschweig moved-up to third place, which they share with Chemnitz and Wuerzburg. Rostock lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 15 games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Braunschweig will meet at home Wuerzburg (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Rostock will play against Goettingen (#17) and hope to secure a win.

Other games of round 33 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
