22-year old point guard Len Schoormann (192-PG-2002) had a great game in the last round for EWE Baskets Oldenburg and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 34.
He had a double-double of 26 points and 12 rebounds, while his team beat Chemnitz (#6, 18-14) 104-94. EWE Baskets is placed at 9th position in German league. Oldenburg is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 16-16 record. It's Schoormann's second year at EWE Baskets and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Len Schoormann averages this season 11.8ppg.

Second best performed player last round was Michael Weathers (190-G-1997) of

MLP Academics Heidelberg. He is American guard in his first season at Heidelberg. In the last game Weathers recorded an impressive double-double of 15 points and 11 assists. Of course MLP Academics Heidelberg cruised to a 84-75 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Frankfurt (#16, 8-24). This victory allowed Heidelberg to move up to 5th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 18-14 record is not bad and everything may still change. Weathers is a newcomer at Heidelberg and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Phlandrous Fleming Jr. (193-G-1998) of

Telekom Baskets Bonn (#14). Fleming Jr. showcased his all-around game by recording 28 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in the last round. Despite Fleming Jr.'s great performance the Telekom Baskets lost 94-100 to the higher-ranked Weissenfels (#8, 17-15). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Bonn ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 18 games, recording just fourteen victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Fleming Jr. could help Bonn to bring them higher in the standings. Fleming Jr. has a very solid season. In 32 games in Germany he scored 14.3ppg. He also has 4.2apg and a FGP of 51.5%.

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
