Governor Zulum Donates N100m to Wounded Soldiers and Families of Slain Troops
Governor Babagana Umara Zulum of Borno State has made a significant financial contribution of N100 million to aid soldiers and their families impacted by the persistent conflict in the North-East region. The funds are specifically allocated to support soldiers wounded in action and the families of those who have been killed during the ongoing fight against insurgency.
The governor announced this considerable donation on a Saturday, during an Eid-el-Kabir Sallah luncheon. This event was reportedly co-hosted by the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede. Governor Zulum's gesture aims to acknowledge and appreciate the sacrifices made by military personnel involved in the counter-insurgency operations within Borno State and the broader North-East.
