Cyprus - Bell-re-signs-at-AEK-Larnaca
Defending champion Petrolina AEK Larnaca (OPAP BL) confirmed in their roster 29-year old American shooting guard Amir Bell (193cm-86kg-1996, college: Princeton) for the new 2025-26 season. He played there last season. In 29 OPAP BL games, he recorded 13.4ppg, 4.9rpg, 4.9apg, and 1.6spg. He helped them to win the league title, and they also played in the Supercup final. Quite an impressive season as he was voted Eurobasket.com All-Cypriot League Finals MVP, All-Star Game, and to the Cypriot League All-Star Game. Bell also played 6 games in FIBA Europe Cup, where he averaged 9.7ppg, 4.2rpg, and 3.3apg. The previous (2023-24) season, he played at Anwil (OBL) in the Polish league.
He is a very experienced player. His career allowed him to travel to three different continents, while he played in six different countries. Bell experienced life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, and North America. He has previously played professionally in Germany (Bamberg), Israel (Hapoel Beer Sheva), Italy (Agrigento), Malaysia (WM Dragons), Poland, and The Basketball Tournament (Big X).
Among many awards, he was selected as the Eurobasket.com All-Polish League Defensive Player of the Year in 2024.
Bell graduated from Princeton University in 2018, and it'll be his eighth season as a pro player.
