URGENT RECALL: John Lewis Prams Recalled Over Detaching Wheels, Choking Hazards for Kids!

Parents are being urged to immediately cease using three specific baby products from John Lewis due to serious safety concerns, including risks of choking and injury. The British department store has issued a comprehensive recall covering two JoJo Maman Bébé baby clothing sets and a Joolz Hub2 stroller, emphasizing child safety as the paramount concern.
Two JoJo Maman Bébé baby clothing products, specifically the Embroidered Cord Dungarees & Top Set and the Cherry Printed Cord Dungarees & Top Set, have been recalled. The issue stems from a problem with the popper fastenings, which could detach and pose a choking hazard to infants. Additionally, there's a risk that these fastenings could scratch a baby. Parents who purchased either of these outfits between September 3 and September 25 of this year are advised to stop dressing their children in them immediately. These items can be returned to any local John Lewis & Partners store for a full refund or an exchange. John Lewis has expressed regret for any inconvenience caused by this necessary recall.
Separately, the front wheels of the Joolz Hub2 stroller, priced at £670, may be at risk of detaching from the chassis. Although described as a rare occurrence, this fault could lead to the user losing control of the pram, potentially causing injury to a child or parent. John Lewis is asking anyone who bought this pram between June 25 and September 24 this year to discontinue its use right away. The specific batch of affected pushchairs includes serial numbers ranging from HUB2CH-016488 to HUB2CH-016687. Owners of these strollers should contact Joolz customer service directly to arrange a free replacement of the chassis (frame) and collection of the old one. Joolz has stated this is a proactive step taken out of caution and commitment to parents, apologizing for any inconvenience and emphasizing child safety.
For inquiries regarding the clothing recall, parents can contact John Lewis on 03456 049 049, Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm. For the stroller fault, Joolz can be reached via email at [email protected] or by phone at 02045252638. These recalls underscore the importance of vigilance in product safety, following similar recent recalls by other high street retailers for various children's items.
