Sarah Jessica Parker, the dream girl of Hollywood, has managed to make the jaws drop by revealing that she once dated Nicolas Cage. Confirming the long-standing speculations and should-have-been allegations, Parker dropped the bomb with three letters.
In an interview with Watch What Happens Live! with Andy Cohen, the host asked about the details of how and when the actress knew that her husband, Matthew Broderick, was the one. Praising Broderick, Sarah said that she knew that he was always incredible after spending a little bit of time with him.Furthermore, the 60-year-old recalled the moment she had to leave for a movie set location, and thought that she loved him. Additionally, Parker said that she said ‘I Love You’ first, reflecting that neither one of them had said it before.
As a follow-up question, which everyone had doubts about, Andy quickly asked whether Sarah dated Nicolas Cage. “Um, yes, I did [date him],” Sarah Jessica Parker confirmed, prompting Cohen to say, “Oh wow. We’ve got some talking to do!”
Sarah Jessica Parker and Nicolas Cage sparked the rumours about dating in 1992 when they starred together in the rom-com ‘Honeymoon in Vegas,’ which earned multiple award nominations. Parker met her husband in 1991 and walked down the aisle in 1997, while Nicolas married his wife, Patricia Arquette, in 1995 and got divorced in 2001.
Nicolas then married Lisa Marie Presley in 2002, before splitting up in a mere 107 days. In 2004, Cage recited the vows with Alica Kim and signed the divorce papers in 2016. Three years later, the actor shared rings with Erika Koike before filing for annulment four days later, and finally got divorced three months later. Currently, the 61-year-old is married to Riko Shibata, who wore a gown and walked down the aisle in 2021, and they welcomed their daughter a year later in August, according to Metro.
