Viacheslav Petrov

Bambitious Nara (B2 League) signed 30-year old Ukrainian international center Viacheslav Petrov (204cm-116kg-1994, agency: BIG) for the upcoming 2025-26 season. He is the second foreign player in the roster as USA Jordan Dallas signed here earlier. He played last season at Kanazawa in the B3 League. In 26 games, he had very impressive stats: 16.2ppg, 10.8rpg, 2.9apg, and 1.5spg. He was also named League Player of the Week. The previous (2023-24) season he played at KK Podgorica Bemax (Erste Liga) in the Montenegrin league. He also played 10 games in ABA League where he recorded 8.2ppg, 4.0rpg, and 1.7apg in that year. The other team he played shortly was SC Prometey Kamianske (Lat-Est BL) in the Ukrainian league.
Petrov has been a member of the Ukrainian international program for several years. He has played for the Ukrainian senior team since 2016 and previously for the Under 20 National Team in 2014.
Petrov also represented Ukraine at the FIBA World Cup 2023 European Qualifiers two years ago. His team won Silver and he had an average of almost 7 points per game.
He has also played in France (Olympique Antibes), Montenegro, and Ukraine (Khimik, BK Khimik Yuzhny 2nd team, and Kyiv Basket).
Petrov won the Latvian-Estonian Basketball League championship title in 2023. He was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Ukrainian Superleague Domestic Player of the Year in 2020.
