Published 16 hours ago2 minute read

Atlus and Sega have posted the first episode in a new mini-series promoting the recently released Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army.

This video features Japanese voice actor Tomokazu Sugita, who voices Raidou Kuzunoha, discussing the title with director and producer Kazuyuki Yamai, specifically regarding the unique gameplay identity of this entry compared to other Atlus games.

Still, the conversation naturally steers toward other avenues, such as the characters themselves and a brief overview of Atlus’ early history, mentioning obscure titles like Maken X and Devil Children.

This video series is planned to consist of three episodes.

Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army is an action RPG set in the Capital during the fictitious year of Taisho 20. Amid rapid development and foreign influence, demons move in silence, threatening the status quo while the public is ignorant.

The protagonist, Raidou Kuzunoha XIV, moonlights as an assistant detective under the Narumi Detective Agency. However, his actual occupation is that of a Devil Summoner who commands demons to protect the Capital’s residents.

One day, the agency receives a strange phone call from Kaya Daidouji, this esteemed family’s only daughter and heiress. Raidou and his boss Narumi rush out to hear her request in detail, but military police kidnap her. Raidou has to discover the truth behind this event, though several obstacles stand in the way.

Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army is available on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
