Tunisia has been recognized as the leading international "Safe Choice" destination for Chinese tourists during the mid-autumn holidays, according to a recent ranking released by Tongcheng Travel. This significant achievement places Tunisia at the top of a list of five preferred destinations for the period of October 1-18, surpassing popular choices such as Japan, Spain, Vietnam, and New Zealand. The ranking, compiled by China's leading online travel agency, highlights a notable shift in travel preferences among Chinese visitors.
The report from Tongcheng Travel indicates a growing trend among Chinese tourists to opt for high-quality and long-haul destinations. This preference has driven considerable growth in booking rates, particularly observed in the Middle East and Africa regions, which posted the highest increases.
