Immediately following the tragedy, a high-level government delegation, led by Deputy Defence Minister Ernest Brogya Genfi, embarked on an official mission on Thursday, November 13, 2025, to commiserate with the bereaved families. Due to heavy downpours, the delegation focused on visiting two families: that of the late Yvonne Amoateng in Adentan and the late Matilda Midorse in Kokompe, Kpone-Katamanso District Assembly. Deputy Defence Minister Genfi assured the families of governmental support, including immediate funeral expenses, potential psychological counselling, and long-term financial assistance, acknowledging the state's responsibility.
