The brutal invasion put the lives of a mother, her newborn, and the entire medical team at grave risk, The Standard reports.
According to hospital insiders, chaos erupted when a rowdy mob broke into the facility and made their way directly into the operating theatre while doctors were performing the CS.
The intruders, reportedly in their hundreds, ignored all protocols and forced their way into restricted areas, shouting and issuing threats.
“It is so scary. Goons even entered the theatre where a CS was ongoing,” said a health worker who remained locked inside the facility during the chaos.
The medic added that the terrified doctor and theatre staff had to lock themselves in to complete the procedure.

The mob's actions threw the entire hospital into panic and confusion.
Medical workers described the invasion as a nightmare, with goons storming maternity wards and other critical units.
While no harm was reported to the expectant mothers, the psychological impact on both staff and patients was significant.
The situation further deteriorated when tear gas canisters were fired around the hospital compound in an attempt to disperse the crowd.
The fumes spread through the wards and hallways, choking patients, many of whom were already in critical condition, and causing immense distress among healthcare providers.
Adding to the horror, some of the goons allegedly broke into storage areas and stole oxygen cylinders.
Others began directing medical staff on how to treat patients, with unconfirmed reports that they tried to administer injections themselves.
In one incident, nurses offering first aid to a wounded casualty were attacked and forced to abandon their duties.
Tatio Sani, a medic at the facility, recounted the chilling ordeal in a viral TikTok video, describing the attack as something out of a horror film.
He revealed that the attackers even set the hospital gate ablaze and appeared intent on burning down the entire facility.
In what can be described as a Karma moment, one of the protesters sustained a deep cut on his right hand while trying to break a glass window, started bleeding profusely and had to seek help from the same hospital.
The Kitengela incident sparked widespread outrage across the country, with Kenyans demanding better protection for healthcare institutions, which are supposed to be neutral zones even during civil unrest.
As Kitengela Sub-County Hospital begins the difficult process of recovery, many are left questioning how a protest intended to honour democracy devolved into an attack on the very core of human care, saving lives.
