The celebrated journalist and mother of two took to social media to honour her firstborn, Joshua Munene, who just turned 15.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Lilian shared a photo of a delicious cake delicately inscribed with the words:
“Happy birthday Josh," giving fans a rare glimpse into the special bond she shares with her son.
Joshua, whom she welcomed back in 2010 during her relationship with ex-husband Moses Kanene, is now blossoming into a confident teenager.
Lilian recently posted a clip of him expertly playing football, hinting at a bright future for the young boy.
Despite her high-profile career, Lilian has been intentional about keeping her children away from the limelight.
Over the years, she has spoken candidly about her decision to shield them from the sometimes unforgiving scrutiny that comes with fame and online criticism.
That possibly explains whey she does not post him often.
Her relationship with Kanene ended after she allegedly accused him of infidelity, prompting her to quietly drop his last name, which she had adopted during her early news anchoring days.
Following the split, Lilian found love again with Shabana FC boss Jared Nevaton.
Their relationship, however, also faced turbulence, with reports later surfacing that he had been previously married to three women.
The pair eventually went their separate ways, but not before welcoming their son, Liam, in 2018.

Here is how her fans celebrated the occasion with her:
"Kíds are the best gifts ever, happy birthday young man."
"Happy birthday to him Lilian ako na watoto wangapi?"
"Let's everyone celebrate his/her birth in a special way ...gifts zimfikie."
"Happy birthday to him."
"Let's grow together and support each other fully. Happy birthday to him."
"Was womdering where the name Kanene went. Happy birthday to him, tunakupenda Lilian."
Previously, the celebrated news anchor sparked curiosity among her fans after opening up about a personal betrayal.
At the time, Lilian hinted at deep emotional wounds caused by people close to her.
She shared a cryptic message, saying that the same steak knife used to prepare a meal was being used to stab her.
However, Lilian did not share the names of those who had gone behind her back, leaving fans hanging and eager to find out who they were, and whether the betrayal had anything to do with her relationships.
