The Pretty Reckless Unleash Fifth Album 'DEAR GOD', Drop New Single

The Pretty Reckless, the acclaimed rock band fronted by Taylor Momsen, has announced their fifth studio album, titled DEAR GOD, scheduled for release on June 26 via Fearless Records.
Accompanying the announcement, the band released its lead single, "When I Wake Up," on Saturday, March 14.
DEAR GOD is characterized by the band as one of their most raw and uncompromising records to date. The 14-track album was developed around themes of diaristic songwriting, profound vulnerability, and uninhibited artistic freedom.
Taylor Momsen described "When I Wake Up" as a cautionary descent, stating it is "the story of a dream becoming a nightmare." The single fuses a punk-driven sound with the band's signature explosive guitar work and Momsen's powerful vocals.
The Pretty Reckless recently performed at the 2026 MusiCares Person of the Year gala honoring Mariah Carey, and appeared at the 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame ceremony where Momsen performed alongside Soundgarden for their induction.
The band also completed a rigorous two-year run as direct support on AC/DC's massively successful PWR UP Tour.
Their track "For I Am Death" climbed to No. 1 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, marking the band's eighth No. 1 single and their fourth consecutive chart-topper.
This remarkable streak commenced in 2020 with "Death by Rock and Roll," followed by "And So It Went" and "Only Love Can Save Me Now" in 2021.
With eight No. 1 hits, The Pretty Reckless has set a new record for the most chart-toppers by a woman-fronted act in the 44-year history of the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, surpassing the previous record held by Halestorm.
This achievement cements their status as one of the most dominant acts in contemporary rock music.
In support of DEAR GOD, the band has announced a headlining world tour, with initial North American dates confirmed for New Orleans, Dallas, and Los Angeles.
The tour will then extend to Europe, promising an expansive global engagement for their highly anticipated new material.
