It also outpaced the massive debut of Rockstar Games’ "Grand Theft Auto VI" trailer, which accumulated 475 million views in its first day in 2025, previously considered the biggest video debut ever. Even previous Spider-Man benchmarks, such as "Spider-Man: No Way Home" (which earned nearly $1.9 billion globally and had 355.5 million views in its first 24 hours), were significantly surpassed, with "Brand New Day" more than doubling its predecessor’s trailer debut performance.

The film is set to pick up four years after the events of "No Way Home." Peter Parker navigates life entirely alone, having voluntarily erased himself from the memories of his loved ones, including MJ and Ned. He is now fully devoted to protecting New York as Spider-Man.
