Budapesti Honved SE (A Division) has signed 26-year-old American 198cm forward Chuck O'Bannon Jr. (college: TCU, agency: Octagon Europe) for the upcoming season. O'Bannon most recently played for Blue Wings in the Slovakian Tipos SBL, where he averaged 15.9ppg, 5.5rpg, 1.3apg, and 1.5spg in 41 games last season. He was instrumental in helping his team reach the semifinals and was recognized for his performance by being voted to the Eurobasket.com All-Slovakian League Third Team.
He was a member of the USA U16 National Team in 2015.
O'Bannon played in the final of the Pac-12 Tournament in 2018 among many awards. He was selected to MaxPreps High School All-Americans Honorable Mention in 2017 during high school.
He graduated from Texas Christian University in 2024 and it'll be his second season in pro basketball. O'Bannon played also for University of Southern California for 3 years.
