Jeffery Taylor

U-Banca Transilvania Cluj Napoca (Liga Nationala) signed experienced 36-year old Swedish-American ex-international small forward Jeffery Taylor (201cm-100kg-1989, college: Vanderbilt) for upcoming 2025-26 season. He has played for the last three years at Wolves in Lithuanian LKL league. In 32 games he had 9.8ppg, 3.3rpg, 1.8apg and 1.2spg last season. He helped them to make it to the Lithuanian Cup Semifinals. Taylor also played 14 games in Eurocup where he recorded 8.1ppg, 2.1rpg and 1.8apg.
In 2012 he was drafted by Charlotte Bobcats (NBA) in second round (31st overall). The former Vanderbilt University star is in his 14th (!!!) season in pro basketball.
He was also a member of the Swedish international program for some years. Taylor played for Swedish Senior National Team back in 2013 and previously for the Under 20 National Team in 2008.
He is quite experienced player. Taylor has played also professionally in Spain (Real Madrid), NBA (Charlotte Hornets) and NBA G League (Austin Spurs).
Among many awards Taylor's team made it to the League Semifinals in 2024. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Lithuanian League Honorable Mention in 2024.
It's very possible he may end his playing career at Cluj Napoca.
