Budapesti Honved SE (A Division) signed American 193cm guard Brandon Rush (college: YSU, agency: Olsta) for the upcoming season. Rush, who last played for BC Komarno in the Slovakian Tipos SBL, was the top scorer with an impressive 23.4ppg in 40 games. He also averaged 3.7rpg, 1.3apg, and 1.7spg. Rush had a successful year, earning Eurobasket.com All-Slovakian League Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week honors twice.
In 2024, his team was the regular season runner-up in the Horizon League. He was also selected as the Ohio Grassroots AAU Breakout Performer of the Year in 2019 during high school.
Rush attended Youngstown State University until 2024 and it'll be his second season in pro basketball. He played also for Fairleigh Dickinson University for 3 years.
