Slayyyter's Tour in Jeopardy: Health Crisis Forces UK/Europe Cancellation
Slayyyter has canceled her remaining U.K. and European tour dates due to laryngitis and vocal cord tears, needing immediate vocal rest. While fans await rebooked shows for next year, the pop star is set to return to the stage in early next year with international performances and will release her new album, "Wor$t Man in America," on December 4.
Pop star Slayyyter has announced the cancellation of all remaining U.K. and European tour dates, citing serious health issues. The Missouri native revealed on Friday, October 23, that she is suffering from laryngitis and vocal cord tears, necessitating immediate medical attention and strict vocal rest for at least two weeks. This decision was made after multiple doctor visits, with medical professionals ordering her to avoid permanent damage to her voice. Fans who purchased tickets will be eligible for full refunds at their point of sale.
Slayyyter expressed deep heartbreak over the cancellations, acknowledging the time, effort, and travel many fans invested in planning to attend her shows. She stated, "i am completely devastated to not be able to give you the shows you were planning for." She reassured her European fanbase that her team is already working diligently to rebook shows for the upcoming year, promising to deliver an "even bigger and better show" to make up for the current cancellations.
These recent cancellations follow earlier scrapped performances in Copenhagen (October 22) and Hamburg, Germany (October 23), where Slayyyter reportedly completely lost her voice. The tour was initially slated to resume on Saturday, October 24, in Warsaw, Poland, and conclude on November 5. Her last performance before the health issues arose was on October 18 in Paris. Following these cancellations, Slayyyter has no remaining performances after clearing her schedule for 2026.
Despite the current setback, Slayyyter has a busy schedule ahead for next year, with a series of international dates planned. She is set to return to the stage in February for shows in Australia and New Zealand, followed by appearances in South America in March. A significant milestone awaits her on June 21, when she will headline her first arena show at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
In addition to her upcoming performances, Slayyyter is also preparing to release new music. Her forthcoming nine-track album, "Wor$t Man in America," is scheduled to arrive on December 4. This project serves as a "brother" album to her previous release, "Wor$t Girl in America," which debuted in March and achieved commercial success by reaching No. 22 on the Billboard 200 chart.
