Shocking Assault: Rapper Ice Spice Attacked in 'Unprovoked Attack' at Hollywood McDonald's

Rapper Ice Spice was reportedly involved in a late-night physical altercation at a Hollywood McDonald’s fast-food restaurant early on a Wednesday, with footage of the incident going viral after being posted by TMZ on Friday, April 17. The Bronx native found herself embroiled in a "beef" after a seemingly innocent snack turned into a physical confrontation with another woman.

The incident began when Ice Spice, unaccompanied by security and chatting in a McDonald’s booth with a friend over a meal, was approached by another patron. The “Deli” rapper rejected the female fan’s advances for a conversation, a refusal that quickly escalated the situation. The fan repeatedly asked, “Where you from?”, to which Ice Spice humorously retorted, “I’m from McDonald’s.”

This exchange angered the woman, who then slapped Ice Spice. A melee ensued, with Ice Spice reportedly jumping across tables while shouting at her assailant. A separate group of individuals became involved, and the altercation spilled outside the restaurant. Once outside, Ice Spice found herself in a separate heated argument with a male individual, insisting, “Let me fight the bi—. Let me fight her. On your momma, let me fight her. Let me fight the bi—. Why would you want to fight me? Are you a bi—? You’re 120 pounds, let’s get at it then! Y’all think because a bi— famous… F— you mean, what happened? Where she at?”

Footage from outside the McDonald's depicted the altercation becoming physical once again, with both the male and female perpetrators engaging Ice Spice, who ended up on the ground. Ice Spice’s friend was heard claiming, “He pushed her,” during the struggle.

Following the incident, Ice Spice’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, issued a statement to Billboard, indicating that legal action would be pursued. Cohen confirmed that the “unprovoked attack” had been reported to the LAPD. He stated, “We will be pursuing any and all criminal and civil avenues to hold the perpetrators responsible for their actions.” Furthermore, the attorney mentioned that they are “exploring holding the location responsible for their apparent lack of appropriate security.”

Cohen also highlighted that the individuals involved “obviously did not realize that we would get the video from inside the McDonald’s where the unprovoked attack occurred. They then turned their cameras on after the initial attack as if to set our client up, and as they say on the video to ‘go viral.’ The only thing that will be going viral for them is their mugshots.”

The female perpetrator, who identified herself as Vayah, offered her version of events to TMZ. She claimed that Ice Spice was “just being rude,” stating, “She was like, ‘Why are you over here? You could leave.’ Then she calls me a bi—. So after she calls me a bi—, I hit her.” Vayah also alleged that Ice Spice picked up her friend’s phone and threw it, resulting in a cracked screen, concluding her statement by saying, “She lost a fan, I can’t listen the same to her anymore.”

In terms of her music career, Ice Spice has not released any new singles in 2026, with her last known collaboration being “Thootie” with TOKISCHA back in December.
