Rwanda - Amatoe-Kofi-gets-MVP-of-the-Week-award-for-Rwandan-RBL
Amatoe Kofi had a great game in the last round for United Generation Basketball Kigali and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 14.
The had a double-double of 25 points and 12 rebounds, while his team beat Espoir (#9, 1-14) 93-88. UGB is placed at 4th position in Rwandan RBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. UGB will need more victories to improve their 8-6 record. Kofi just recently signed at UGB, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Amatoe Kofi averages this season 14.6ppg and 6.9rpg.
The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young DR Congolese Franck Nyembo (2006) of
Espoir BBC Kigali. Nyembo impressed basketball fans with 21 points and 9 rebounds. Bad luck as Espoir lost that game 88-93 to the higher-ranked UGB (#4, 8-6). Espoir are still at the very bottom. 14 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Espoir managed to get this year. Nyembo is one of the most experienced players at Espoir and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.5ppg (#7). He also registered 10.0 boards per game. The third best performed player last round was another UGB's star - Eric Kayondo (C). Kayondo scored 22 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. He was another key player of United Generation Basketball Kigali, helping his team with a
93-88 win against the lower-ranked Espoir (#9, 1-14). UGB needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 8 victories and 6 lost games. Kayondo has a very solid season. In 14 games in Rwanda he scored 7.6ppg.Other top performing players last week:

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
