CSM Corona Brasov (Liga Nationala) re-signed 29-year-old Canadian ex-international 183cm point guard Munis Tutu (college: Carleton, agency: Inception Sports) for the upcoming season. He played there last season. In 38 Liga Nationala games, he recorded 11.3ppg, 3.3rpg, 5.1apg, and 1.6spg. The previous (2023-24) season, he played at Gunners Oberwart (BSL) in the Austrian league.
He was also a member of the Canadian international program for some years. Tutu played for the Canadian Senior National Team in 2018 and previously for the University National Team in 2019.
He is a very experienced player. Tutu has played professionally in Austria, Bulgaria, Canada, and Germany.
In 2022, his team finished as regular season runner-up in CEBL. He was voted to Eurobasket.com German 2.Bundesliga Pro A All-Defensive Team in 2022.
Tutu graduated from Carleton University in 2020, and it'll be his sixth season in pro basketball.
