Rap Star Odumodublvck Dragged to Court in High-Stakes Intimidation Lawsuit

Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, widely known by his professional name Odumodublvck, has been formally summoned to appear in court. The summons stems from allegations of criminal intimidation brought against him by a prominent executive of Chocolate City Music.

A Chief Magistrate Court in Abuja, presided over by Magistrate Farida Ibrahim, issued the summons on November 3, 2025. Odumodublvck has been directed to appear before the court on November 6, 2025, to address the charges leveled against him. The complaint was filed by Olayinka Osagie Onobun, who serves as the Head of A&R at Chocolate City.

Onobun alleges that Odumodublvck engaged in a campaign of intimidation against him through a series of posts on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter. Onobun claims these actions were specifically intended to instill fear in him. In the court petition, Onobun's lawyer, Pelumi Olajengbesi, articulated that the rapper’s conduct “threatened the complainant with injury to his person in order to cause fear.” Olajengbesi further argued that these acts constitute criminal intimidation as defined under the laws of the Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria.

Following a review of the petition, Magistrate Ibrahim issued the order requiring Odumodublvck's personal appearance to respond to the allegations. This legal development unfolds amidst an ongoing public online dispute between Odumodublvck and various figures associated with the Chocolate City camp. This includes Blaqbonez’s manager, Morin Oluwatobi, and veteran rapper Jude ‘MI’ Abaga. Odumodublvck had recently intensified the feud by publicly accusing MI Abaga of hypocrisy, alleging that he was 'sitting on the fence' regarding the ongoing issues.
