Queens Of The Stone Age announce intimate 2025 UK and European 'The Catacombs Tour' - including London's Royal Albert Hall
Queens Of The Stone Age have announced an intimate 2025 UK and European leg of ‘The Catacombs Tour’.
Following their stripped-back performance at the Parisian Catacombs last July, Josh Homme and co. will be coming to the UK and Europe to continue their limited run of intimate shows.
The ‘Catacombs Tour’ was inspired by the band’s experience playing in the underground burial network, which was later released as a concert film. The performance was the first of its kind, consisting of brand-new arrangements of QOTSA’s work including the addition of a string section and creative alternatives to a drum kit.
Now, QOTSA will be bringing these shows at carefully curated venues across Europe, just before they embark on their ‘Catacombs’ leg in North America. The special run of shows will take place in October, kicking off in Milan on October 18 and travelling through Berlin, Amsterdam and more.
The tour will end with a huge final show at London’s Royal Albert Hall on October 29.
Tickets go on general sale this Friday (July 18) 10am local time – get your Royal Albert Hall tickets here and see all tour stops below.

In a four-star review of the ‘Alive In The Catacombs’ concert doc, NME wrote: “So immersive is the California rockers’ starkly beautiful Thomas Rames-directed and Blogothèque-produced half-hour live film Alive In The Catacombs, that it’s easy to get lost – as you might while navigating the tunnels and ossuaries beneath the French capital.
“What’s more, this ain’t no standard stripped-back Live Lounge kinda affair. Homme and co are aided by a supporting cast of six million souls whose skulls line the walls.”
The one-off gig at the historic site took place around the same time QOTSA axed a set of European shows due to Homme requiring “emergency surgery”. The frontman has since returned to the stage for a Mark Lanegan tribute concert in London last December. No details have been given about the emergency surgery so far.
Elsewhere, Josh Homme has said a Kyuss reunion is “possible”.
