Pueblo Police: Arrest made in second homicide of 2025
(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The Pueblo Police Department (PPD) said detectives have arrested a suspect in the death of a man on the West Side of Pueblo.
According to PPD, on Thursday, April 3, at around 8:45 a.m., officers were called to a home in the 1900 block of West 21st Street near Tuxedo Boulevard and West 18th Street about a report of a dead body.
When police arrived, they found a man unresponsive on the front porch of a home, and fire/rescue personnel declared the man dead.
Detectives were called to the scene and started a homicide investigation. During the investigation, a suspect was identified as 21-year-old Andrew Martinez, who was arrested on charges of First-Degree Murder.
PPD said the investigation is active and ongoing.
