Ikenne, Abeokuta to Host Super Falcons, Cameroon in Friendlies

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced that the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne and the Moshood Abiola Sports Complex in Abeokuta will host the upcoming international friendly matches between the Super Falcons and Cameroon. The first match is scheduled for Saturday, May 31, at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne-Remo.

The second match will be held at the newly-renovated MKO Abiola Sports Complex in Abeokuta. These friendlies are part of the Super Falcons' preparations for the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

The Super Falcons, led by Justine Madugu, were last seen in action against Les Bleues of France in December. As they prepare for WAFCON 2024, the nine-time champions are set to compete against Botswana, Tunisia, and Algeria in Group B.

Morocco is set to host the competition, which will commence on July 5, 2025.
