Pop Icon Miley Cyrus Honored with Innovator Award at 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards

The 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards are scheduled to air live on Thursday, March 26, from 8-10 p.m. ET on FOX, originating from the iconic Dolby Theater in Hollywood. The event will also be accessible nationwide on iHeartMedia radio stations and through the iHeartRadio app.

Miley Cyrus is slated to receive the prestigious Innovator Award, recognizing artists who consistently make significant contributions to pop culture and the music industry.

She joins a distinguished list of past recipients including Pharrell Williams, Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, and Lady Gaga.

Multi-talented artist Ludacris will return to host the iHeartRadio Music Awards for the second time in three years, following LL Cool J's hosting duties the previous year.

Beyond hosting, Ludacris will also be celebrated with the Landmark Award, an honor bestowed upon artists whose portfolios have profoundly shaped culture across multiple decades.

Ludacris joins previous Landmark Award recipients including Green Day, TLC, and Nelly, and fans can also look forward to a live performance by him during the show. He expressed excitement about returning to "celebrate and perform alongside some of the best in the industry."

Alex Warren

Alex Warren is set to receive the Breakthrough Artist of the Year Award, acknowledging his remarkable ascent highlighted by his hit "Ordinary," which topped the Billboard Hot 100 for ten consecutive weeks. His rapid rise also earned him Best New Artist at the MTV VMAs and a Grammy nomination in the same category.

The performer lineup features Lainey Wilson and RAYE, with a particularly anticipated first-time collaborative performance uniting the legendary groups TLC, Salt-N-Pepa, and En Vogue on one stage. This historic union is expected to be one of the most memorable moments of the evening.

The awards actively engage audiences by allowing iHeartRadio listeners to determine winners across several fan-voted categories.
