The biggest transfer story confirmed by the club is the impending departure of 21-year-old playmaker Relebohile Mofokeng to Belgian champions Union Saint-Gilloise. Mofokeng is set to sign a four-year contract with the Belgian Pro League side, with the move remaining subject to a successful medical examination and the finalization of personal terms. Mofokeng’s move represents a significant milestone, as he becomes the third Orlando Pirates academy graduate in the past year to secure a transfer abroad, following Mohau Nkota to Al Ettifaq and Mbekezeli Mbokazi to Chicago Fire.
