Osimhen, Napoli and Galatasaray: 3 important things to clarify
With different reports flying around, it is important to explain exactly what is happening between Napoli, Galatasaray and Victor Osimhen.
There had been too much optimism on Tuesday evening that a deal would be done, as the basic €75m fee was not getting into the meandering yet fundamental tunnels of the financial guarantees.

The second thing to make clear is that Napoli never lost control of the situation, considered stepping back their demands, nor acting too hastily just to cash in.
The third matter to state without hesitation is that as of today Napoli will not accept anything other than €75m.

The most recent proposal from Napoli: give us €55m now and €20m in instalments, but with the financial guarantees.
The truth is that today there was no documentation provided, that yesterday Napoli had asked Osimhen to re-evaluate the Al-Hilal proposal and received no positive response, that there are no meetings planned in Milan for tonight.

We’ll see from tomorrow, whether the Galatasaray directors return to Istanbul seeking the guarantees that will open the door to Victor Osimhen.

Finally, we want to absolutely deny the suggestions from Nigeria that there was a breakthrough and guarantees were sent to Napoli.
None of that has happened. If it does, it will be over the next few hours (or days).
