NBA 2K26 Unveils Hottest Players, Crowned By Collier's WNBA Record!

NBA 2K26 is generating significant excitement among basketball fans, with 2K Games revealing the highly anticipated player ratings for both the WNBA and NBA. This year's iteration promises a comprehensive gaming experience, highlighting top talent from both leagues and introducing new features to popular game modes.

In the WNBA, Minnesota Lynx power forward Napheesa Collier leads the rankings with an impressive 98 OVR, securing the top spot. Close behind her are Las Vegas Aces center A'ja Wilson and New York Liberty power forward Breanna Stewart, both rated at 97 OVR. Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark, a standout rookie, claims the No. 4 spot with a 96 OVR, while NBA 2K26 cover star Angel Reese rounds out the top ten with a 90 OVR after her notable rookie season for the Chicago Sky. The full list of the ten highest-rated WNBA players includes: Napheesa Collier (Minnesota Lynx, 98 OVR), A'ja Wilson (Las Vegas Aces, 97 OVR), Breanna Stewart (New York Liberty, 97 OVR), Caitlin Clark (Indiana Fever, 96 OVR), Alyssa Thomas (Phoenix Mercury, 95 OVR), Sabrina Ionescu (New York Liberty, 93 OVR), Nneka Ogwumike (Seattle Storm, 92 OVR), Satou Sabally (Phoenix Mercury, 92 OVR), Jonquel Jones (New York Liberty, 92 OVR), and Angel Reese (Chicago Sky, 90 OVR).

For the NBA, Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic shares the top spot with a 98 OVR rating. Oklahoma City Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who is also the game's cover star, matches Jokic with an identical 98 OVR. Milwaukee Bucks power forward Giannis Antetokounmpo completes the top three with a 97 OVR. Beyond player ratings, NBA 2K26 introduces significant enhancements to its MyTEAM modes. For the first time, WNBA players will be available across all MyTEAM modes, allowing players to create diverse mixed squads. This groundbreaking change is complemented by the addition of brand-new Game Changer cards, the exciting Breakout: Gauntlet game mode, and the introduction of 5v5 co-op with All-Star Team-Ups, offering new ways for players to engage and compete.

NBA 2K26 is slated for release on September 5, 2025, and will be available on a wide range of platforms including PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo. Special edition purchasers will also receive the benefit of up to seven days of early access to the game.
