Ann Syovinya was reportedly away from home and had left her daughter in the care of her nanny, only to return to the devastating news of her child’s death.

To make matters even more painful, her own brother is allegedly responsible for Amanda’s demise.

The heartbroken mother shared a video on her Instagram Story, showing her beautiful little girl wearing a red dress and white doll shoes, smiling sweetly at the camera.

In the clip, Amanda, clearly aware she was the centre of attention, waved at the camera. The video was accompanied by Dr Ipyana’s gospel hit Niseme Nini, which played softly in the background.

“Nothing is making sense, for real,” she captioned the beautiful yet heartbreaking video.

In a subsequent post, Ann shared a note featuring a Bible verse from Exodus 23:20:

“Look, I will send an angel to lead you on your journey. He will keep you safe and take you to the place I have prepared for you.”

Like the earlier clip, the post was accompanied by Promises by Maverick City, a moving gospel song referencing God’s faithfulness amid pain and trials.

Amanda and her nanny were at home when the suspect visited and reportedly caused a disturbance.

Sensing danger, the nanny screamed to raise alarm but help came too late when the little girl had already fallen.

Lilian Gichuhi, Jacaranda Gardens property manager confirmed the incident in a statement, noting that Amanda's uncle was heavily intoxicated when he allegedly committed the gruesome act.

The neighbours rushed to the scene and apprehended him before calling officers from Kiamumbi police station.

Gachuhi said the young girl was rushed to Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital for treatment but sadly succumbed to her injuries.

She also explained that the case was being handled by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) after officers stationed at Kahawa West Police Station took over the matter.

“Kahawa West police responded promptly and took over the matter, proceeding to KU Referral for documentation,” Lilian said.

In related news, reported that moments after the tragic incident, residents of Jacaranda estate roughed up the suspect and subjected him to mob justice.

When given a chance to speak, he claimed he could never have pushed Amanda from the balcony, insisting that he had only thrown a doll.

The intoxicated man stated that he knew his rights and dared the angry neighbours to check the CCTV cameras for the truth.
