Miss Sixty is back with the help of Bella Hadid and Machine-A | Dazed
This decade’s inescapable resurgence of y2k fashion has brought with it with an onslaught of flip phones, oversized belts, denim mini skirts, low-waisted everything and the revival of some of our most beloved 00s labels. The likes of Morgan de Toi and Diesel have surged in popularity on Depop and Vinted, and even Forever 21 items are being sold for close to $300.
Now Miss Sixty is officially back. After dropping its SS25 campaign earlier this year – photographed by Carlijn Jacobs and styled by Dazed’s own IB Kamara – starring Bella Hadid who peruses a supermarket in hot pants and hoop earrings, the brand has now launched an installation at London’s Machine-A.
Open from today until April 22, the in-store installation celebrates the new campaign by recreating the 70s-style supermarket seen in the pictures. Elsewhere in fashion this week, we learned that the one and only Katie Price – who is the new face of Diesel – is also a big Miss Sixty fan. We caught up with Donatella Versace about what’s making her hopeful for fashion’s future (spoiler alert: it’s young designers), and we also noticed that the ‘Quirked Up White Boy’ is Hollywood’s new favourite muse. Here’s all the fashion news you missed this week…
Robyn Lynch
As announced earlier today, London Fashion Week Men’s has cancelled its June edition, replacing it with a Paris showcase instead. Since it first launched in 2012, LFW Men's has helped to launch the careers of designers such as JW Anderson, Wales Bonner, Craig Green, Ahluwalia, Labrum London and Robyn Lynch to name a few. It’s a shame but hopefully the move will allow for smaller brands to reach more eyes in Paris.
Dior
Swoon! Dior has gifted us with a new campaign from brand ambassador Robert Pattinson. Photographed by Alasdair McLellan, the images show Pattinson modelling the Dior icons capsule collection. Though sadly, unlike his recent role in Mickey 17, there’s only one of him in these pics.
Marc Jacobs
Amelia Gray and Gabbriette’s gothic features have been in constant comparison since they first emerged as fashion darlings a couple of years back. Online, people are convinced the two models are long-lost twins and now, Marc Jacobs has put the two models side by side in its latest campaign. See their daily routines here.
Gucci
Gucci’s latest project invites nine different artists to reinterpret the silk Gucci scarf in new ways. Titled 90x90 in reference to the scarf’s dimensions, the exciting project includes artists Robert Barry, Everett Glenn, Sara Leghissa, Currynew, Jonny Niesche, Gio Pastori, Walter Petrone, Yu Cai, and Inji Seo. Martine Rose x Clarks
At long last, Martine Rose has unveiled her latest collection with Clarks titled ‘Coming Up Roses’. Now in its third installment, this particular iteration celebrates Clarks’ 200th(!) anniversary, featuring three reinterpretations of classic styles. If her previous Clarks’ collabs are anything to go by, these will be snatched up in no time. Shop here.
Vivienne Westwood
Earlier this week, Vivienne Westwood presented its first ever fashion show in India, in front of the historic Gateway of India and in celebration of the country’s rich textile heritage. The show included looks from the SS25 collection, as well as couture looks made from the finest Chanderi silk and Khadi cotton, often associated with Gandhi and symbols of freedom.
Louis Vuitton
One of the biggest trends of 2025 so far is undoubtedly the ballet-fication of trainers. LV has become the latest brand to release a ballerina-inspired shoe, titled the Sneakerina. The new style combines the lightness of the ballerina with the practicality of trainers. Also new from Vuitton is the LV Biker, the new handbag you’re about to be seeing a lot of. Shop here.
GUESS USA
Distressed denim, micro-mini skirts, stars and stripes – you ‘guessed’ it, Guess USA’s SS25 collection is all about Americana. Inspired by rock n roll as well as vintage fabrics, the looks are denim made skimpy, frayed and deliberately dirtied. Yes, you’re supposed to look a mess, but certainly a hot one. See here.
Ann Demeulemeester
Ann Demeulemeester has released the third edition of its visual diary ‘Kids’, curated by creative director Stefano Gallici. This time around, the diary explores LA’s creative scene, featuring a cast made up of actress Sophie Thatcher, musician Dove Armitage, and film archivist Bella Scaffidi. See here.
Fendi
Fendi’s latest campaign, titled ‘Fendi For Yourself’, celebrates two of the brand’s most iconic handbag styles: the baguette and the peekaboo. Not only that, they’re modelled by global girl group Katseye, as well as Nara Smith and Jordan Daniels too.
